BASIC STUFF:
I’m Rob Buhl the Associate Pastor at North Albany Community Church. I grew up in Kent, WA just 20 miles south of Seattle. In August of 1999 I moved to Salem, OR to attend Corban College where I eventually met my wonderful wife. Almost 8 months after we married we moved to Albany during the summer of 2002 to minister to the people of Albany. I spend my time working with our Care Group Ministry, teaching, and looking toward the future of our church and how we can disciple leaders to lead our church in making a larger impact in the community. I love to share God’s Word with people and to see them take the next steps in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Education: Green River Community College, Auburn, WA (1997-1999); Corban College, Salem, OR, B.S. Biblical Studies and Theology (1999-2002); CBNW Ministry Center Portland, OR Convergence (equivalent to M.A. Pastoral Ministry) (2007-present)
My Family: Wife Robyn (Dec.15, 2001), Daughter Leeann and Son Titus.
Brief Testimony: I was raised attending church, but at around the age of 6 years old I remember praying in a Sunday School class, outside of Indianapolis, Indiana, to confess that I am a sinner and that I needed Jesus Christ in my life. There have been many times in my life when I have had to recommit my life to Jesus, but I know Jesus responded to my small faith in that classroom and he sealed my salvation that day.
Interests and Favorite Places: : I like to find Cool Places to Sit to watch people or nature. I’ve enjoyed Sunriver, Oregon, white water kayaking on the Clackamas River

Hobbies: I like jogging, reading, watching movies, thinking
Dislikes: chick flicks, cheese, people who call me while they’re talking to someone else in the background
Odd Facts: I was in the opening ceremonies of the Good Will Games, I’m a Navy qualified “Expert Marksman” with a handgun, it’s generally easier for me to talk in front of 300 strangers than to 1 stranger, I like most things berry, like, Wild Cherry Pepsi
